A variety of printing processes may be used to produce pressure sensitive labels. Many are printed flexo. Graphics are normally 300 dpi and use four color process. Spot colors may also be used when desired.
This type of label may be applied by hand or using a machine. They come on rolls of release paper called “liner” which is pulled away when the label is applied. The label substrate, adhesive and liner will vary depending on the usage of the end product.
Pressure sensitive labels are frequently used for smaller run quantities, colored containers, coupons, game pieces or when paper quality printing is needed.
Berry coordinates the artwork, printing, and application of pressure sensitive labels. Our Creative Services Department can also create new artwork upon request.
